The Vision Zero for Youth initiative has honored the Republic of Moldova with the 2024 International Leadership Award for its commitment to protecting children on the road.

The award was presented to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Automobile Club of Moldova for leading two national working groups focused on reducing speeds around schools — a key step toward safer streets for all.
