On August 4, 2020, a cooperation agreement was signed between the public Association Automobile Club of Moldova (ACM) and the General Inspectorate of Police (GIP) with the support of the National Inspectorate of Public Security (INPS) of the GIP.

The agreement was signed with the aim of improving road safety and taking measures to reduce the number of road accidents in the Republic of Moldova.

At this meeting, ACM provided the GIP with sanitary masks donated by the Federation Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), reflective and informational materials, tire pressure manometers, and children's car seats with the support of the FIA, FIA Foundation, Touring Club Schweiz (Automobile Club of Switzerland), ÖAMTC (Automobile Club of Austria), including the Eastern Alliance for Safe and Sustainable Transport (EASST) and FedEx.

The donated children's car seats and materials will be used by the police during social information and educational activities, during which they will demonstrate: the benefits of a child car seat, their correct use and the need in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Moldova.

Child restraints were transferred to the GIP as part of the "Kind Restraint" project, launched in 2018 in partnership with the Automobile Club of Belarus (BKA), with the financial support of the FIA and the FIA Foundation through the FIA Road Safety Grant program and with the assistance of EASST, the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, the National Patrol Inspectorate, the “Oratorul” theater, Mama.md, "Recaro" and other interested parties.
