Tatiana Mihailova represented ACM at the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) Region I Spring Meeting in Budva, a landmark event bringing together automobile clubs representing members across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa to discuss priorities in road safety and sustainable mobility.
The first event took place under the Safe Mobility 4 All & 4 Life initiative, implemented alongside UNITAR. It promoted the "Safe System" approach and the ambitious Vision Zero goal - targeting zero road fatalities. During the meeting, Tatiana Mihailova, in her capacity as Vice-Chair of the COFO Region, delivered the presentation "Mobility challenges and opportunities for Clubs in the Region," highlighting the essential role automobile clubs play as agents of change in promoting safe and sustainable mobility.
Furthermore, she presented a case study titled "Building a Stakeholder Mapping (30 km/h policy in RM)," emphasizing the importance of collaboration between institutions, civil society, and other relevant actors to effectively implement traffic-calming policies and create safer cities for people.
At the COFO Plenary Meeting on April 21, Tatiana Mihailova presented "Updates from Euroboard," contributing to the exchange of information and the strengthening of regional cooperation.
Active participation in such FIA regional platforms reinforces ACM's role in promoting modern road safety and sustainable mobility policies aligned with European standards.
