World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims 2025

On 16 November 2025, the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims was marked, honoring those who lost their lives on the roads and acknowledging the impact on families and communities.

This year, the focus was on lost talents. Each road traffic crash represented more than a statistic - it marked a life cut short, unfulfilled potential, and talents that never had the chance to grow. These losses were felt not only by families but by society as a whole.

In Chișinău, the Automobile Club of Moldova (ACM), as part of the project supported by the National Youth Agency (ANT) and Ministry of Education and Research (MEC), organized a dedicated flashmob with young sportsmen. Reflective items were distributed and demonstrated, showing how simple measures can prevent road accidents and protect lives and talents in the community.

The day also served as a moment to reflect on shared responsibility. Through care, attention, and responsible behavior in traffic, unnecessary loss can be prevented and lives and talents protected.
