On the occasion of European Mobility Week 2025, the Automobile Club of Moldova carried out several activities aimed at promoting sustainable mobility and road safety nationwide.
One of the highlights was the flashmob in Ialoveni, carried out by the 14 year old students of the “Petre Ștefănucă” Theoretical High School. Through their creativity, the young participants conveyed the message that responsible mobility is essential for everyone’s safety.
The ACM also organized a working meeting with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development (MIDR) and the National Road Transport Agency (ANTA). The discussions focused on the National Road Safety Program, adopted by the Government of Moldova in June 2025, with a strong emphasis on urban mobility. The meeting also covered implementation of the Program at the national and local levels, safer speeds and mobility priorities, and other key issues related to road safety.
Another important moment of the week was the presentation of the Road Safety Module for Youth, an initiative that emphasizes education and responsibility. The module highlights good practices and solutions that can be applied nationwide, equipping young people with the knowledge and tools they need to become more conscious and attentive road users.
Through these initiatives, the Automobile Club of Moldova reaffirms its commitment to advancing safe, efficient, and environmentally friendly mobility - both in local communities and at the national level.
This activity is part of the project “Safe Generation - education and action for safe roads”, implemented by the Automobile Club of Moldova with the support of the National Youth Agency, and the project “Advancing 30km/h school speed zones in Moldova”, supported by EASST and the FIA Foundation.
