The Automobile Club of Moldova (ACM) participated in the FIA General Assembly held on 9–12 December 2025 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, hosted by the National Autosport & Karting Federation of Uzbekistan (NAFKU). The event brought together FIA member clubs, international partners, and public authorities to discuss road safety, mobility, governance, and the future of motor sport.

On 9 December, ACM took part in the panel discussion “How to implement impactful road safety mobility projects: challenges and opportunities”, co-hosted by EASST, FIA Foundation, and NAFKU. During the session, Tatiana Mihailova, CEO/Vice-President of ACM, presented updates on the Moldovan National Road Safety Programme, highlighting the importance of effective implementation, inter-institutional cooperation, building capacity at the local level, and safer infrastructure measures, particularly around schools.

During the FIA Region I COFO meeting on 10 December, the results of elections for two COFO Vice-Chair positions were announced. Following an electronic vote among FIA member clubs, Tatiana Mihailova was elected COFO Vice-Chair, receiving the highest number of votes. She was also appointed as an observer to the FIA EuroBoard, reinforcing ACM’s regional presence and active contribution within FIA decision-making bodies at the European level. This election highlights ACM’s growing role in shaping regional road safety and mobility policies, ensuring that Moldova’s perspective is represented in key international discussions.
